Trunk over IP

The trunk over IP allows you to connect your telephony solution to the Sipleo Télécom voice network. This brings you several advantages.

What is IP trunking? What is it used for ?

An IP trunk allows you to connect your telephony solution (without an additional conversion box) to the Sipleo Télécom voice network.

Your company may be affected if you already use an IP telephony architecture. If this is the case and thanks to the trunk, your company goes “full IP” without having to replace existing equipment or modify the organization already present. Thus, you also keep your telephone numbers (requires the portability of your numbers at Sipleo telecom).

Sipleo’s SIP Trunk functionality is interesting if you want to set up an IP telephony architecture soon.

Switching to IP trunking gives you the opportunity to prepare your infrastructure for possible developments regarding uses or the technologies of tomorrow (collaborative work, teleconferences, etc.).

IP trunking is a technology compatible with all telephone equipment and works from all types of Internet access within a company:

What are advantages of Trunk over IP?

IP trunking has many advantages for your company.

Simplified management

IP trunking has many advantages for your company.

Above all, the trunk immediately simplifies the management of your infrastructure and reduces costs.

By choosing SIP Trunk, you remove the gateways that connect your infrastructure to operator links, as well as to the T0 or T2 cards in your system. Voice flows are therefore centralized.

With this type of installation, you also use a single service provider and you therefore receive only one invoice. An immediate saving visible on all of your telephone subscriptions.

Easy mobility

Thanks to Sipleo Télécom, you benefit from unlimited telecommunications offers to landlines and mobiles.

As for internal calls (even across your company’s locations), they generate a low cost because they use your company’s internal network (LAN).

The IP trunk functionality allows you to make free calls between the different sites of your company or from your employees’ homes (thanks to the SIPS functionality).

SIP Trunk is a flexible technology that allows IP lines to be added or removed at any time.

Our engagements

Compliance with regulations

Sipleo undertakes to comply with the regulations in force regarding: the management of emergency numbers, the portability of your numbers and the availability of all types of numbers present on the trunk.

Securing your infrastructure

We make it a point of honor to secure your infrastructure and communications. Our telephone operator also offers VPN/Firewall solutions to avoid being the target of attacks or external threats (tapping, hijacking, etc.). Securing voice streams is treated in the same way and in conjunction with the administration of a company's systems and devices. This is why the Sipleo firewall is ideal for all companies wishing to secure their data.

Flow prioritization

Sipleo Télécom allows you to have several codecs and to favor MPLS or SRTP IP type support. This guarantees you bandwidth management and flow prioritization.

The technological constraints of the trunk

Setting up xDSL access (necessary for trunk support) can create some eligibility constraints.

The geographical location of your company in relation to the France Telecom distributor will determine the speed of the xDSL line (ADSL, VDSL, SDSL, fiber, etc.), as well as the number of communication channels that you can subscribe to.
